Hey there, guys. I’m Rachel, and I live in Amherst, New Hampshire. I’m one of those crazy kids that you either love or you hate… more preferably love, please ;). In school, I'm BIG in psych, philosophy, English, and history. I also enjoy every single kind of music that you’ve ever heard of—that includes Katie Targett Adams, Talking Heads, The Beatles, Savage Garden, Count Basie, Wilco, Gretchen Wilson, Black Eyed Peas, Gwen Stephanie, Anti-Flag, Bright Eyes, etc. SO, if you want to chat up music, you’re welcome to do so; my email is sh0rtandsw3et89@gmail.com.
For jobs, I’m a professional (Grade 8) soccer referee, and a professional ski instructor (PSIA LEVEL ONE) at Mount Sunapee. My MLS team is DC United (Go Marco Etchevery!). I am an absolute ski demon, and I hope that I can achieve a PSIA Level Three by the time I’m done with college. I also am very involved in music. I play classical clarinet and jazz saxophone and flute (jazz clarinet is coming along, but I tend to throw some awkward straight classical lines into my improv). I’m hoping to get scholarships through the various groups I’m involved in for college. A billion other random things you can hit me up on: I am Jewish, blonde, a Leo, a dancer, a fashion maven, an individual (whoa!), short, New Englandian, fluent in French, and I have been to Thailand, Japan, China, Belgium, France, England, Mexico, the Caribbean, Germany, Czech Republic, and Austria… but never Canada! I’m a wimp when it comes to sad movies, totally indifferent to scary movies, and LOVE funny but terrible teen flicks (okay, I love American Pie).
